Job summary

Montefiore Wakefield is seeking an X-Ray Technologist to perform imaging studies with independence and leadership in the radiology department. You will prepare patients, position them correctly, and obtain high quality radiographs for diagnostic use by radiologists.

The role requires ARRT certification, NY DOH licensure, and an associate degree. You will work evenings, with weekend shifts on alternate weekends, supporting the Wakefield imaging team.

Qualifications

• Assocate degree in radiologic technology or equivalent.
• ARRT certification is required.
• Licensed by NY DOH as Radiologic Technologist with Injection.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and room for procedures and document data in Epic.
• Obtain scout films and proper exposure settings for high quality images.
• Assist interventional radiologist during procedures and monitor equipment.
• Maintain imaging workflow across Epic and PACS; verify and label studies.
• Train staff and students; maintain clean, safe work area.
