Job summary

CorVel seeks a Workers’ Compensation Claims Supervisor to lead a claims team in Las Vegas, ensuring quality, productivity and service standards are met in accordance with company policies.

You will mentor staff, oversee regulatory reporting for Workers’ Compensation and participate in client reviews, with occasional travel as required. A Bachelor’s degree and WC claims experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or combination of education and related experience.
• 5+ years’ claims handling experience.
• Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation required.
• Current license or certification in Workers’ Compensation claims must be maintained throughout employment.
• State Certification or license as an experienced claims adjuster.

Responsibilities

• Supervises WC claims staff in day-to-day operations.
• Assists Claims Manager with recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding new staff.
• Ensures staff compliance with Workers’ Compensation laws and regulatory reporting.
• Provides training, coaching and performance evaluations; supports merit-based actions.
• Guides staff on complex compensability, investigation and litigation issues.
