CorVel Corporation is seeking a WC Claims Supervisor for a remote role supporting a national claims team. The role leads a staff of workers' compensation claims professionals, ensuring regulatory compliance, effective coaching, and timely resolutions across complex cases.

Responsibilities include staff supervision, recruitment support, training, and performance evaluation, plus providing technical guidance on complex claims issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Minimum of 5 years' claims handling experience.
• Knowledge of Workers' Compensation required.
• Current license or certification in Workers' Compensation claims must be maintained throughout employment with CorVel.
• State Certification or license as an experienced claims adjuster.

Responsibilities

• Supervises WC claims staff in day-to-day operations.
• Assists Claims Manager with recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding new staff.
• Ensures staff compliance with Workers' Compensation laws and mandated regulatory reporting requirements.
• Provides training, coaching, and performance evaluations to optimize team performance.
• Provides technical and jurisdictional guidance to claims staff on complex issues.
• Acts as liaison for final resolutions for clients and employees regarding claims.
• Participates in customer claim reviews and presentations.
• Travel may be required for meetings (overnight).
• Additional duties as assigned.
