Job summary

CorVel is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Claims Supervisor to lead a team, ensuring quality, productivity and customer service while following company policies. This is a remote position and may require occasional travel.

You will supervise staff, assist with recruitment and onboarding, ensure regulatory compliance, provide guidance on complex claims, and participate in client reviews. A Bachelor’s degree and at least five years’ claims experience, plus state licensure, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or combination of education and related experience.
• Current license or certification in Workers’ Compensation claims.
• Public speaking skills and ability to present to groups.

Responsibilities

• Supervises WC claims staff in day-to-day operations.
• Assists with recruitment, interviewing, onboarding new staff.
• Ensures compliance with Workers’ Compensation laws and reporting.
• Provides training, coaching and performance evaluations.
• Guides staff on complex claims and litigation issues.
• Interact with clients on claim-specific requests.
• Participate in customer claim reviews and presentations.
• Ability to travel overnight if required.
• Additional duties as assigned.
