City of Dallas is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Claims Manager to lead and oversee the city’s workers’ compensation claims program and RTW initiatives. You will guide coordinators, partner with TPAs and providers, and drive strategies to reduce costs while ensuring compliant and timely claims handling.

The role requires building cross-functional partnerships with HR, Safety, and departments to promote safe returns to work and effective injury management across locations.

Qualifications

• Five years of Texas workers’ compensation claims management experience.
• Experience with disability/absence management and RTW programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the workers’ compensation claims program from initial injury reporting through resolution and closure.
• Provide leadership and support to claims staff and coordinators; ensure adherence to standards and regulations.
• Monitor reserve levels, medical treatment, indemnity exposure, litigation, and claim status; identify cost-reduction opportunities.
