Job summary

University System of Maryland is seeking a Workday Reporting Lead to serve as the technical lead for reporting, analytics, and data architecture across the MD Connect Workday Consortium. You will guide design, governance, and continuous improvement of enterprise reporting across the shared Workday tenant.

You will own the Workday reporting architecture, define data models, and ensure secure, scalable solutions that support operations, compliance, and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; related experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
• Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise reporting/analytics including Workday reporting.
• Experience with Advanced, Matrix, and Composite Workday reports and multi-layer calculated fields.
• Experience designing dashboards and analytics, including Prism Analytics datasets/pipelines.
• Ability to lead projects and provide technical direction to developers/analysts.

Responsibilities

• Leads design, development, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of complex Workday reports and dashboards for operational, regulatory, and executive use.
• Develops advanced reporting solutions using Workday report types and tools.
• Translates complex requirements into scalable reporting solutions and aligns with stakeholders on outcomes.
• Builds executive analytics packages and leads projects for enhanced reports and analytics capabilities.
• Develops reporting components to support integrations and RaaS outputs.
• Diagnoses and resolves complex reporting, performance, data, and security issues.
