Job summary

The University System of Maryland is seeking a Workday Reporting Lead to serve as the technical lead for reporting, analytics, and data architecture within the MD Connect Workday Consortium.

You will oversee the design, development, governance, and continuous improvement of enterprise reporting and analytics solutions across the shared Workday tenant, providing technical leadership and establishing reporting standards.

Qualifications

• Three years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise reporting and analytics, including hands-on Workday reporting experience in a post-production environment.
• Experience developing complex Workday reports across HCM and FM using Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports.
• Experience designing dashboards and analytics solutions and building Prism Analytics datasets or pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Leads the design, development, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of complex Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions for operational, regulatory, and executive use.
• Translates complex business requirements into clear, scalable reporting solutions and confirms requirements, priorities, and outcomes with stakeholders.
• Owns and governs the Workday reporting architecture for the MD Connect tenant, including standards for report types, data sources, and security patterns.
• Architects the Workday reporting data layer, including Prism Analytics datasets and pipelines.
• Leads cross-functional data quality initiatives and evaluates integration patterns with external analytics platforms.
• Leads, develops, and provides technical direction to report developers and analysts; establishes priorities and monitors delivery against requirements.
