Job summary

Fullsteam is seeking a Director of Workday/HRIS to lead strategy, governance, and hands‑on configuration across the Workday ecosystem. You will align platform capabilities with business growth, HR, and payroll needs, while driving adoption of AI‑enabled capabilities and ensuring secure, scalable, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in HRIS, HR/payroll tech, or enterprise systems.
• Significant hands-on Workday experience in a multi‑module environment.
• 3+ years leading Workday teams or complex cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy, roadmap, architecture, and operational effectiveness of Workday ecosystem.
• Oversee Workday Core HCM, U.S./Canada Payroll, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Talent, Recruiting, Learning, Time Tracking, Absence Management.
• Lead governance, change, release management, and service delivery processes.
• Translate business needs into functional/technical specifications and drive solutions.
• Design, configure, and optimize Workday business processes and security models.
• Manage complex projects from discovery to deployment and post‑go‑live support.
• Monitor platform reliability, data quality, and performance metrics.
• Partner with HR, Finance, IT, and vendors; manage consultants and MSPs.
