Job summary

MFS is seeking a Lead Analyst HR Technology – Workday to optimize and extend HR systems, focusing on Workday configuration, integrations, and user experience. You will partner with HR and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable system design.

The role demands 6–8+ years in Workday with end-to-end configuration across multiple modules, plus strong data analysis, reporting, and stakeholder management. Hybrid on-site/remote work is available.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end analysis, planning, and project execution for new Workday modules and functionality.
Own and maintain Workday configuration (business processes, eligibility & condition rules, calculated fields, tenant configuration).
Partner with HR and downstream teams to deliver enterprise solutions aligned to the broader HR strategy.
Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate workflows, improving compliance and operational efficiency.
Stay current on Workday roadmap and new features, evaluate and recommend adoption aligned to business value.
Lead Workday release management: impact assessments, testing strategy, tenancy moves, stakeholder communications, and post-deployment stabilization.
Create and maintain system documentation (process maps, configuration decisions, runbooks) and support training materials for end users.
Mentor and support junior HR Technology team members, provide peer review of configuration and testing artifacts.
Act as escalation point for complex issues, coordinating with Workday Community, vendors, and internal IT to troubleshoot defects.
