Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a Workday Adaptive Planning Manager to join our Digital Advisory Services practice. You will lead engagements, drive successful deployment, and mentor teams while delivering scalable EPM solutions for clients.

You will work across diverse projects, implement and optimize Workday Adaptive Planning, and oversee integrations with ERP/HRIS/CRM systems. Strong communication and leadership are essential as you guide clients through complex planning and forecasting initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information systems, business analytics, or related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in EPM/FP&A/financial systems or consulting required
• Minimum 4 years of Workday Adaptive Planning implementation experience
• Experience leading multiple end-to-end Workday Adaptive Planning implementations
• Experience in JavaScript and SQL, with the ability to understand data integrations and configurations
• Minimum 5 years of corporate financial accounting experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of corporate financial planning and analysis experience preferred
• Consulting experience preferred
• Experience managing multiple project workstreams, budgets, and client relationships
• Strong knowledge of Workday Adaptive Planning model design, integrations, and reporting preferred
• Experience integrating Workday Adaptive Planning with ERP and other financial systems
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and data flows
• Ability to present Workday Adaptive Planning solutions to clients preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and business audiences
• Process improvement and root cause analysis preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Must be able to travel approximately 20%

Responsibilities

• Lead Workday Adaptive Planning implementation projects from discovery through deployment
• Facilitate client sessions to understand processes, planning requirements, reporting needs, and KPIs
• Manage implementation engagements as solution lead with guidance on model design, security, and reporting frameworks
• Design, configure, test, and optimize Workday Adaptive Planning models including sheets, versions, dimensions, security, dashboards
• Oversee integrations between Workday Adaptive Planning and ERP, HRIS, CRM, and other systems
• Lead design and implementation of integrations using JavaScript, SQL, APIs and other platforms
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and reporting efficiencies
• Manage project risks, issues, resource assignments, and client expectations
• Review project deliverables for quality and adherence to standards
• Serve as primary day-to-day client contact and trusted advisor
• Mentor and coach junior staff and support their development
• Support business development with proposals, demos, scoping and thought leadership
• Contribute to development of methodologies and reusable assets
• Stay current on product enhancements and trends in FP&A and EPM
