Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent in mechanical/electrical/weld engineering.
  • One+ years of MS Office experience (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of mechanical joining and welding technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead welding activities for new model launches.
  • Assess joining feasibility and ensure weld quality objectives.
  • Develop weld control plans and enforce requirements.
  • Lead weld inspection and drive corrective actions using 8D.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Production and Suppliers to resolve issues.
  • Support shifts, including weekends, and adapt to different lines.
