Camaco LLC seeks an experienced Welding Engineer to develop and implement optimal welding processes that meet product specs and quality standards. You will lead welding development projects, troubleshoot issues with suppliers, and establish procedures for complex joints and post-heating requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Weld Engineering Technology and 5+ years of welding experience in automotive manufacturing, with strong attention to safety and adherence to quality systems.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree in Weld Engineering Technology or equivalent
• 5+ years welding experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
• Experience leading welding development projects and process improvements

Mansioni

• Lead new welding development research.
• Troubleshoot welding issues with internal teams and suppliers.
• Develop and specify welding standards and best practices.
• Improve welding equipment OEE and performance.
• Manage Engineering Changes and associated documentation.
• Develop welding techniques for fabrication of metals and complex joints.
• Prepare technical reports from R&D and maintenance investigations.
• Establish welding procedures and post-weld heating requirements.
• Support and troubleshoot 8D/Problem resolution methods.
• Ensure IATF16949 documentation requirements are met.
