Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental, civil, hydraulic, agricultural or water resource engineering; Florida PE license or ability to obtain within one year, five years of civil engineering experience.
• Experience leading a project team or workgroup is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise professional engineers, assign workloads, set priorities, monitor progress, and provide technical guidance.
• Oversee civil design and development for dams, levees, reservoirs, and water resource infrastructure.
• Provide technical oversight to evaluate scope, schedule, budget, operations, and risk.
• Resolve complex technical, contractual, procurement, regulatory, and administrative issues.
• Review and approve deliverables: memos, reports, plans, specs, cost estimates, schedules, invoices, and contracts.
• Ensure QA/QC across work products and promote standardized project management and document control.
• Monitor performance and report risks, decisions, and status to management and executives.
• Coordinate consultant services and construction support to achieve project outcomes.
