Job summary

Consor is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer focused on water infrastructure to lead design and analysis of critical facilities such as treatment plants, pump stations, and reservoirs. You will mentor junior engineers, guide projects through design phases, and support business development with clients and proposals.

The role requires a CA SE license or ability to obtain one, 10+ years in relevant fields, and a track record of leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, sustainable water

Qualifications

• 10+ years of structural engineering experience with water, wastewater, or public infrastructure.
• Experience leading Water Resources projects and public-sector projects.
• Active California Structural Engineer (SE) license or ability to obtain.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Excellent communication and leadership in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and analysis of water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Serve as the technical lead on multidisciplinary projects ensuring standards are met.
• Develop structural calculations, specifications, and construction documents.
• Perform condition assessments and provide practical solutions.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, process, and geotechnical engineers.
• Review and seal deliverables ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Engage in client meetings, proposals, and growth initiatives.
• Provide construction-phase services including RFIs and site visits.
• Support business development through client relationships.
