Job summary

BELFOR Franchise Group is seeking an Advanced Water Damage Specialist who will lead multiple teams, assess large losses, and determine drying objectives using heat and desiccant methods. You will manage moisture content, electrical needs, and field documentation for complex restorations.

The role requires knowledge of IICRC standards, proficiency with moisture meters and IR cameras, and availability to travel and work irregular hours.

Qualifications

Must have working knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard.
Must have working knowledge of IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard.
Must carry current IICRC ASD designation.
Proficient with moisture meters, IR cameras, and data recording.

Responsibilities

Direct teams in using correct PPE for jobs.
Review daily project requirements and document progress.
Provide field documentation, photos, charts, and sketches for projects.
Draw sketches, read plans, develop humidity records, and determine drying objectives.
Calculate humidity load and cubic meters for affected areas; call for additional support as needed.
Determine electrical consumption and temporary power needs for drying equipment.
Perform daily vehicle safety and equipment maintenance checks.
Adhere to BELFOR standards to protect client property.
Maintain strong customer service and time management under deadlines.
Occasionally travel and work nights/weekends as required.
