Job summary

BELFOR Environmental seeks a Specialist in Water Damage - Advanced to lead drying and repair for residential and large-scale projects. You will guide teams, interpret plans, and coordinate HVAC integration to optimize drying objectives.

The role requires field documentation, humidity calculations, and occasional night/weekend travel, with strict adherence to BELFOR standards and safety protocols. IICRC knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of IICRC standards (S500, S520).
• IICRC ASD designation and BELFOR Water Damage guidelines.
• Proficiency with moisture measurement tools and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Direct teams in selecting and using PPE for each job.
• Review daily project requirements, document progress, and report challenges.
• Provide field documentation, photographs, charts and sketches.
• Draw sketches, read plans, and set drying objectives with humidity data.
• Calculate humidity load and cubic meters affected; request support for large losses.
• Determine electrical consumption and temporary power needs; ensure safety.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and maintain equipment.
• Adhere to BELFOR standards and safety protocols; inform time/worked accurately.
• Attend BELFOR operations and required safety training.
• Travel as needed, including nights and weekends.
