Job summary

BELFOR Environmental is seeking a highly skilled Specialist in Water Damage - Advanced to lead drying and repair efforts for residential, commercial, and large losses. The role requires technical knowledge of drying systems, heat and desiccant methods, and coordination of multiple crews.

Occasional travel, night shifts, and weekend work are expected. Strong safety and customer service orientation is essential.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate working knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard.
• Must demonstrate working knowledge of IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard.
• Carry current IICRC ASD designation.
• Must demonstrate mastery of BELFOR Water Damage Book.

Responsibilities

• Direct the teams in the use of the right PPE for the job.
• Review daily requirements of projects, document progress and notify managers of progress and challenges encountered.
• Provide field documentation, photographic records, charts and sketches for various projects.
• Draw sketches, read plans, develop humidity content records, complete records and determine drying objectives.
• Calculate humidity load, cubic meters affected, and request additional support for large losses.
• Determine electrical consumption of drying equipment and temporary power needs.
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and keep equipment in good condition.
• Adhere to BELFOR standards to safeguard property and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain timely and accurate communication about time worked and materials used.
• Attend required training and safety courses per BELFOR policy.
