North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) is seeking a Wastewater Plant Operator III to monitor and optimize facility operations, oversee a team, and ensure safety and compliance at wastewater treatment sites in North Texas. The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, data analysis, and coordination with maintenance staff.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Texas Class B Wastewater license preferred.
3+ years of wastewater treatment or relevant experience required.
Effective communication with supervisors, peers, and subordinates.

Responsibilities

Monitor, analyze, and adjust wastewater facility operations.
Train, lead, and mentor staff under supervision.
Coordinate with maintenance for repairs and renewals.
Maintain logs and records; suggest efficiency improvements.
Respond to emergencies and coordinate shutdowns and remediation.
Perform routine cleaning and upkeep of equipment and facilities.
