Job summary

United States Cold Storage Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily operations, ensure safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction, and uphold best-in-class warehousing practices in a fast-paced cold-chain environment.

You will oversee labor planning, timecards, performance reviews, and collaboration with shipping/receiving, while maintaining inventory accuracy and compliance with SOPs. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum: high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of team lead/supervisor experience required.
• 2+ years of college coursework preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in warehouse supervision in food or temperature-controlled environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate warehouse workflow with emphasis on safety, sanitation, cost control, productivity, accuracy, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.
• Act as visible leader within the Cold Crew and uphold company culture.
• Participate in hiring, promotion, and termination discussions.
• Prioritize and direct warehouse tasks, allocate labor, and manage overtime approvals.
• Oversee timecards, scheduling, and attendance with HR collaboration.
• Supervise safety incidents; log and investigate per safety systems.
• Drive labor efficiency through coaching and training initiatives.
• Coordinate with shipping/receiving to manage docks and pallet flow.
• Utilize WMS to assign tasks, manage inventory, and handle exceptions.
