Job summary

United States Cold Storage, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Lead/Supervisor to coordinate daily warehouse workflows while prioritizing safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. You will lead the Cold Crew, guide personnel decisions, and partner with HR to manage staffing needs.

The role requires strong supervision experience in a temperature-controlled environment, with emphasis on labor efficiency, SOP compliance, and safe operation of warehouse systems.

Qualifications

• Preferred: high school diploma, GED or equivalent; 2+ years Team Lead/Supervisor experience required.
• Strong supervisory and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute workflow throughout the warehouse with emphasis on safety and productivity.
• Serve as a visible leader within the Cold Crew and uphold company culture.
• Advise on employment decisions including hiring, promotions, and terminations.
• Supervise labor allocation, overtime decisions, and time-off scheduling.
• Oversee safety incidents, investigations, and reporting in the safety tracking system.
• Lead coaching, feedback, and training to improve labor efficiency.
• Manage timecards, performance reviews, and adherence to SOPs.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and adherence to good warehousing practices and food safety standards.
• Coordinate with shipping/receiving to manage docks and pallet flow.
• Operate the Warehouse Management System to track tasks, inventory, and exceptions.
