Job summary

United States Cold Storage is seeking a Warehouse Lead to supervise daily warehousing activities in a cold-chain facility. You will guide a team, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to safety protocols while maintaining accurate inventory across shifts.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in warehouse operations, and proficiency with WMS. Candidates should be able to manage forklift-friendly tasks and collaborate with multiple departments to uphold efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience; leadership experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED; ability to work in cold environments.
• Strong communication and safety focus; able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Lead Warehouse Associates and mentor staff to meet productivity goals.
• Coordinate trailer movements and pallet flow for efficient loading/unloading.
• Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to assign tasks, track work, and handle exceptions.
• Serve as liaison between warehouse staff and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Address safety and productivity issues and implement process improvements.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
