Job summary

GEODIS in Dallas seeks an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate daily distribution center activities and lead a team through order fulfillment, inventory control, and labor planning. The role requires overseeing schedules, ensuring safety compliance, and driving efficiency across operations.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in warehousing, at least 1 year of supervisory experience, and strong Excel/Outlook skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3–5 years of related warehouse and/or distribution center experience.
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with warehouse equipment.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and labor management systems.
• Proficient PC skills including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prepare routine reports and maintain records.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities within the distribution center.
• Supervise staff and direct work on order fulfillment and inventory management.
• Prepare work schedules and adapt to labor needs.
• Manage labor hours and payroll in electronic timekeeping.
• Interview and train new team members.
• Support staff development and performance reviews.
• Ensure adherence to safety, policies, and ISO9002 procedures.
• Suggest process improvements and monitor stock levels.
• Prepare leadership reports and maintain warehouse condition.
• Assist with periodic inventories and billing coordination.
