Memmert USA LLC in Eagle, Wisconsin, is seeking a dependable Warehouse Lead – Logistics & Equipment to coordinate shipments, manage inventory, and ensure proper testing, packaging, and shipping of laboratory equipment. You will lead a small team, maintain warehouse organization, and uphold safety and documentation standards.

The role requires hands-on operation, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to own daily responsibilities while collaborating with various departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant warehouse, logistics, shipping, or related experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with coworkers, customers, and vendors.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, troubleshoot problems, and manage multiple priorities.
• Basic math skills, including measurements, fractions, percentages, and conversions.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for occasional on-site support.

Responsabilités

• Pick, test, package, and prepare laboratory equipment for shipment.
• Coordinate freight, white-glove delivery services, and parts pickups.
• Prepare shipping documentation, including international customs paperwork.
• Obtain freight quotes and assist the sales team with shipping-related questions.
• Safely load and unload trucks and shipping containers.
• Prepare and coordinate equipment and materials for company tradeshows.
• Maintain accurate equipment inventory, including proper labeling, tracking, and storage.
• Perform routine cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory counts.
• Maintain an organized warehouse and maximize available storage space.
• Oversee forklift operations, maintenance, and safety training.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, organization, and processes.
• Help coordinate daily warehouse priorities to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Work closely with other warehouse team members and departments to support daily operations.
• Cross-train in other warehouse functions to provide coverage when needed.
• Assist with training employees on warehouse procedures and equipment handling.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
• Follow company procedures, safety standards, and documentation requirements.
