Job summary

Viking Electric in Milwaukee is seeking a Warehouse Lead to manage daily warehousing duties, including picking, packing, loading, and shipping of customer orders. You will monitor shipments, maintain stock locations, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years in warehousing, a High School diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. This full-time role offers a strong benefits package and growth opportunities within the Sonepar

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience including order picking, receiving, and shipping.
High School diploma or GED.
Knowledge of warehouse operations and forklift safety; good communication.
Able to work with Lead positions and be at least 18.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, up to 75 lbs with assistance.
Stand/walk for long periods; work in warehouse temperatures.

Responsibilities

Direct and perform warehousing duties: loading, unloading, stocking, order picking and shipping.
Monitor accuracy of shipments against packing documents.
Ensure orders and transfers are filled, packaged, loaded, and delivered on schedule.
Monitor stock locations and movement; maintain equipment and housekeeping.
Support safety procedures and training; monitor attendance and performance.
