Job summary

SAELENS LLC in Johnson Creek, WI, seeks a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations at the Johnson Creek manufacturing facility. You will oversee shipping, receiving, material handling, truck scheduling, inventory accuracy, and daily supervision of warehouse staff.

The role emphasizes 5S, safety, and delivering accurate shipments on time while coordinating with various departments. Primarily first shift with some flexibility for other shifts and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; additional education in supply chain or logistics preferred.
• 5+ years in warehouse/shipping/receiving or material-handling in manufacturing.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Experience coordinating carriers, truck schedules, inbound/outbound shipments.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, cycle counting and material flow.
• Experience using ERP or WMS; Epicor experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Forklift experience or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily shipping, receiving, storage, staging and material-handling activities.
• Lead, train, schedule and develop shipping, receiving and material-handling staff.
• Establish daily priorities and ensure adequate coverage across shifts.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound truck schedules, carrier pickups and deliveries.
• Ensure customer shipments are accurate, documented and shipped on time.
• Maintain accurate inventory locations and system transactions.
• Oversee cycle counts, investigate discrepancies and implement corrections.
• Coordinate material availability with Production, Purchasing, Quality, and Customer Service.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse using 5S and continuous-improvement practices.
• Track warehouse performance: on-time shipping, accuracy, inventory, and receiving turnaround.
