Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) invites applications for a Warehouse Janitorial Lead in Albany, NY. This full-time, on-site role supports a fast-paced distribution center environment, focusing on safety and operational excellence.

Shifts vary, with Mon-Fri 8am-2pm and weekend coverage. Starting pay is $16.96 per hour. The lead will motivate a janitorial team, coordinate tasks with operations, and uphold safety standards while delivering reliable facility cleaning services.

Qualifications

Experience in janitorial operations and distribution center environments strongly preferred.
4+ years in a Lead/Supervisory role.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions, and chemical safety sheets (English; Spanish may apply).
Ability to follow OSHA requirements, safety guidelines, and forklift instructions.
Customer service oriented with a friendly, positive demeanor.
Familiar with KBSPresence timekeeping and job-related communications.

Responsibilities

Lead a team in a complex task-oriented janitorial operation environment.
Support Maintenance Operations Center and Field Operations by handling escalations promptly.
Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and breakrooms as needed.
Follow Janitorial Supervisor Task Process Flowchart.
Coordinate callouts and shift coverage with team and shift lead.
Provide feedback and escalate issues to KBS Management as required.
