Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring a Warehouse Janitorial Lead for our distribution center cleaning crew in New York. This full-time, permanent role requires leading a small team in a fast-paced environment and ensuring safety and cleanliness across rooms, hallways, restrooms, and break areas.

Starting pay is $19.50 per hour with benefits including medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) match, paid time off, and more. Shifts vary including day and night, with weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial operations and distribution center environments.
• 4+ years in a Lead/Supervisory role.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and safety sheets.
• Ability to follow OSHA requirements and forklift instructions.
• Customer service oriented with a positive demeanor.
• KBSPresence app used for timekeeping and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in a complex task-oriented janitorial operation environment.
• Provide direct support to Maintenance Operations Center and Field Operations by responding to escalations.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, breakrooms, and other areas as needed.
• Follow Janitorial Supervisor Task Process Flowchart.
• Support callouts by splitting shifts amongst team and shift lead as needed.
• Deliver feedback with timely escalation reporting to KBS Management.
