Job summary

Nor-Am Cold Storage in Ohio is seeking a hands-on warehouse team lead to guide and motivate a group of employees, ensuring daily shipments go out on time in a cold environment. You will understand warehouse workflow, complete paperwork, and assist in inventory using the WMS, operating forklifts, performing dock tasks, and supporting end-of-shift reporting.

Qualifications

2 years of warehouse experience with forklift operation preferred.
HS diploma or GED preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate a group of employees and delegate tasks to meet daily shipments.
Understand warehouse workflow and execute tasks efficiently.
Complete necessary paperwork and assist in inventory management using WMS.
Perform basic dock tasks such as scanning and wrapping pallets.
Use material handling equipment to load and unload trailers.
Handle start and end of shift tasks including cleaning and end-of-day productivity reporting.
Ensure team is trained; assist in safety training and equipment certification.
Some manual material handling, case picking and building pallets as needed by customers.
