Job summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking a Visual Inspector III (API 510/570/653) to service client sites across the Midwest and support operations in Duluth, MN. This senior role requires extensive API/ASME knowledge and the ability to lead projects and guide junior inspectors.

Responsibilities include reviewing inspection procedures, approving reports, and providing technical recommendations. Travel to client sites is required, with a focus on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Certification of API 510/570/653
• 5–8 years’ experience or 5+ years on site experience
• CWI or NACE 2 a plus
• In-depth working knowledge of API 510/570/653 and ASME standards
• Experience supporting petrochemical facility engineers

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and non-destructive examination of equipment per API/ASME standards
• Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition
• Provide recommendations for repair, re-rate, replacement, or alteration of plant equipment
• Provide technical input on welding and metallurgical issues
• Provide guidance on non-destructive examination techniques and procedures
• Comply with safety practices and participate in site safety initiatives
• Willingness to travel as needed
