Qualifications

• Certification of API 510/570/653 required.
• 5+ years on-site experience or 5–8 years’ overall experience.
• In-depth working knowledge of API 510/570 and ASME standards.
• Experience supporting petrochemical facility engineers.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and non-destructive examination of pressure retaining equipment per API/ASME standards.
• Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition.
• Provide technical recommendations for repair, re-rate, replacement or alteration of plant equipment.
• Provide technical input on welding and metallurgical issues.
• Offer guidance on non-destructive examination techniques and procedures.
• Comply with safety practices and participate in site safety initiatives.
• Travel up to 70%+ as needed.
