Job summary

Orlando Vets Eastwood is seeking a full-time Lead Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our veterinary clients. You’ll excel in a fast-paced environment, deliver clear communication, and support a welcoming front desk experience for pets and their families.

Responsibilities include greeting clients, handling payments and scheduling, answering calls, and maintaining a calm, organized reception area. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and pets, sign-in, confirm appointment details, and escort to exam rooms.
• Manage payments, sales, and scheduling; handle credit/debit transactions.
• Answer calls for appointments and inquiries; make reminder/follow-up calls.
• Understand veterinary terminology, basic lab concepts, and common vaccinations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization to ensure a positive client experience.

Lead Receptionist

Orlando Vets Eastwood is hiring a full-time lead front-desk receptionist to be the first point of contact for our veterinary clients, playing a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. We are looking for a customer service professional who excels in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and is passionate about animal care.

Salary

$18.00-$21.00 per hour dependent on skills and experience

Schedule

Monday- Friday 8AM-5:30PM, every other Saturday 8AM-2PM

Key Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets, complete the appointment sign-in process, confirm appointment details, and escort clients to exam rooms.
• Ensure accurate service and product sales accounting, handle payments, process credit/debit cards, and schedule future appointments.
• Answer client calls for appointments, hospital inquiries, medication refills, and other requests. Make outbound calls for appointment reminders and follow-ups.
• Understand common vaccination protocols, basic lab tests, common diseases, veterinary terminology, and pet behavior.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization to ensure a positive client experience.
