Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical veterinary experience.
• Prior leadership or mentorship experience preferred.
• Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring, dentistry, laboratory procedures, and radiology.
• Strong computer literacy and experience with practice management software.
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and handle animals up to 150 pounds.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and client service.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor technicians to improve skills and engagement.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training and mentoring.
• Schedule staff based on caseload and skills.
• Model best practices in patient care, anesthesia monitoring, and client communication.
• Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and surgeries.
• Perform venipuncture, intubation, anesthesia induction and monitoring, dental prophylaxis, and labs.
• Administer medications and treatments per veterinarian instructions.
• Operate radiology and ultrasound equipment safely.
• Maintain medical records, charge capture, and client education docs.
• Oversee inventory, purchasing, and vendor relations.
• Maintain equipment readiness and safety standards.
• Suggest workflow improvements for efficiency.
• Assist with hospital policies and quality standards.
• Lead by example in a clean, organized hospital.
• Educate clients on treatment plans and preventative care.
• Foster collaboration among clients, doctors, and care team.
• Participate in staff meetings and continuing education.
• Support VetEvolve values and positive culture.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
