Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a Veterinary Technician preferred.
• Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, laboratory procedures, radiology, and dentistry.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; able to work in a team.

Aufgaben

• Provide high-quality nursing care to hospitalized patients including IV catheter placement and monitoring.
• Assist veterinarians during examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and surgery with proper restraint and monitoring.
• Perform laboratory tests and document results; operate radiology and ultrasound equipment safely.
• Prepare and administer medications and vaccines; maintain controlled drug logs and compliance.
• Educate clients about preventive care, medications, and treatment plans.
