Job summary

Zoox is seeking a Team Lead for Vehicle Operations in Dallas to guide a team of Vehicle Operators and ensure safe, efficient execution of operations and testing across software and hardware, coordinating with program management, strategy, and engineering.

You will mentor direct reports, manage performance, approve timesheets, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining Zoox's high safety and quality standards on-site.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional work experience in a cross-functional and product-based environment.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience
• Experience in a high-level collaborative environment promoting teamwork
• Proven ability to problem-solve and improve operational efficiency
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and management
• Excellent driving history and on-site work readiness

Responsibilities

• Support vehicle operators in day-to-day operations with a safety-centric culture.
• Complete administrative tasks: timesheet approval, expense reports, schedule validation, performance feedback.
• Collaborate with other Team Leads and Program/Project Managers to align teams with Zoox goals.
• Mentor direct reports and contingent workforce on Zoox standards and software.
• Interact with contingent personnel and management to communicate responsibilities.
• Conduct recurring testing focused on safety and staying current with operations.
• Work with product and program teams to drive process and product improvements.
