Job summary

Zoox seeks a Team Lead for Vehicle Operations to guide a team of Vehicle Operators, ensuring safe, efficient day-to-day operations and alignment with Zoox’s standards. You will work hands-on, mentor staff, and coordinate with program management, strategy, vehicle engineering, and go-to-market teams.

This on-site role requires 7+ years in cross-functional settings, 3+ years supervisory experience, strong communication, problem-solving, and a safety-first mindset. Shift: Thu-Mon, 3:45pm-12:15am.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in cross-functional, product-based environments.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience leading teams.
• Strong collaboration, proactive problem-solving, and excellent written/verbal communication.
• Willingness to work on-site for all scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Vehicle Operators to meet short- and long-term targets.
• Approve timesheets, expenses, and schedules; conduct performance feedback.
• Collaborate with Leads and PMs to align teams with Zoox goals.
• Become a knowledge expert on Zoox Vehicle Operations software.
• Execute recurring testing with safety as a priority.
• Drive process improvements with product and program management.
