Job summary

Briarcliff Manor School District seeks a Varsity Girls Golf Head Coach for Spring 2027. The successful candidate will organize and supervise the entire program, guide skill development, and model sportsmanship, discipline, and character.

You will report to the athletic director, collaborate with high school and middle school staff, schedule practices, manage equipment, and ensure compliance with district policies and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Has the ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.
• Has previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport. (Major sports)
• The head coach must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and continuously seek new theories and procedures.
• The head coach must serve as a role model for student athletes through conduct and instruction.

Responsibilities

• Has thorough knowledge of athletic policies approved by the Briarcliff UFSD Board of Education and ensures implementation by staff.
• Knows existing systems, state and league regulations; interprets them for staff.
• Understands proper administrative command and routes requests through proper channels.
