Job summary

Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) is seeking Healthcare Consultant Managers to support Department of Veterans Affairs programs. You will oversee full lifecycle project management, engage diverse stakeholders, and design clinic interventions while ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables and compliant reporting.

You will lead start-up activities, develop business cases and SOPs, and guide teams and subcontractors toward program goals, with a focus on measurable outcomes and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus eleven (11) years of experience or master's degree and six (9) years of relevant experience working on engagements in a consulting organization, health-related government entity, or within a large integrated health care delivery system
• Experience with project management methods and tools
• Experience with consulting methodologies such as change management, process improvement, human-centered design, environmental/market analysis, and/or qualitative and quantitative research
• Ability to independently and effectively facilitate work groups of diverse stakeholders
• Ability to simplify complex ideas into clear, accessible information for diverse audiences; strong writing skills and ability to develop business cases, operations manuals, presentation decks, and communications
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
• Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship
• Ability to obtain public trust

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle project management activities to implement Veteran-focused programs
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design clinical interventions
• Perform current state analyses and create journey maps for future state proposals
• Conduct industry research to understand leading clinical practices
• Analyze existing practices and make recommendations for improvement
• Develop high-visibility deliverables and program artifacts (business cases, SOPs, manuals, evaluation plans)
• Maintain SOPs, quality control plans, and operational workflows
• Define models for measurement and data-driven decision-making
• Identify project risks and mitigation strategies
• Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements
• Lead and manage project teams including staff and subcontractors
• Foster a collaborative, accountable team environment
• Support onboarding of new staff for effective integration
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources per federal requirements
• Maintain strong client relationships for growth and capture opportunities
