Job summary

Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) is seeking an experienced VA Operations & Program Integration SME to support large-scale transformation initiatives within the Veterans Health Administration. The role serves as the connective tissue across government stakeholders, contractors, technology vendors, and implementation teams to ensure alignment and successful execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years of experience supporting federal healthcare programs.
• 7+ years of leads in program management or strategic integration.
• Experience with multi-stakeholder government, contractors and vendors.
• Healthcare technology implementations or large-scale transformations.
• Knowledge of VHA operations, governance, and processes.
• Executive governance facilitation and senior leadership presentation ability.
• Strong business process analysis and requirements management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-level program integration across multiple workstreams.
• Establish governance structures, decision processes, and reporting frameworks.
• Coordinate with VHA leadership, contractors, vendors, and partners.
• Document current/future state processes, workflows, and dependencies.
• Identify gaps and opportunities; develop actionable recommendations.
• Support requirements gathering, validation, and documentation.
• Develop roadmaps, schedules, risk registers, and executive briefings.
• Monitor risks/issues/dependencies; drive resolution through governance.
• Coordinate activities across initiatives to align with enterprise objectives.
• Support acquisition planning and contractor performance management.
• Collaborate with technical teams to align solutions with business needs.
• Provide strategic communications and portfolio reporting for executives.
• Establish metrics to evaluate progress, adoption, and outcomes.
