Job summary

Quince is seeking a Lead UX Designer to own the end-to-end design of key internal Platform Tool product areas that support critical business workflows, such as our Warehouse Management Portal. This is a senior, highly hands-on individual contributor role with significant ownership.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, and end users to define problems, shape solutions, and ensure the experience scales with growth and AI-native capabilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of UX or Product Design experience.
• Ability to own ambiguous product problems end to end as a senior IC.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude, Figma Make, or similar tools as part of the design process.

Responsibilities

• Own UX design end to end across assigned Platform Tool product areas, from problem definition and product strategy through detailed design, implementation, and iteration.
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, and end users to understand needs, define problems, and determine what should be built — not just how it should look.
• Translate complex and ambiguous business requirements into simple, efficient, and scalable workflows and experiences.
• Define information architecture, interaction models, user flows, and detailed UI while making thoughtful decisions around hierarchy, patterns, and tradeoffs.
• Prototype and iterate quickly to explore ideas, validate solutions, and align with cross-functional partners before and during development.
• Partner with Engineering through implementation to ensure shipped experiences meet a high bar for usability, consistency, and quality.
• Apply and evolve Quince’s design system, contributing reusable patterns that can scale across the broader Platform Tools ecosystem.
• Use AI tools such as Claude and Figma Make as a core part of the design process to accelerate exploration, prototyping, iteration, and collaboration.
