Job summary

Quince is building its own AI-native supply chain planning platform and seeks a Principal Engineer to own the platform from startup to scale. You will lead the production-grade systems that convert forecasting models into weekly business-ready workflows across multiple vendors and markets.

The role requires deep experience in data-intensive engineering, ML infrastructure, and collaboration with science and business teams.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience in data-intensive or ML-adjacent systems.
• Strong production ML and AI platform engineering experience: feature pipelines, model serving, monitoring.
• AI-native engineering practice with code generation, test authoring, and AI-augmented features.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build the AI-native supply chain planning platform from ground up.
• Own model pipelines lifecycle: feature engineering, forecasting, evaluation, deployment, monitoring.
• Build operator-facing tooling: dashboards, overrides, audits, alerts for deployment decisions.
• Collaborate with science team to translate forecasting/optimization problems into reliable infrastructure.
• Provide technical leadership and set architecture for planning tools to scale across geographies.
