Job summary

1 Alpha Consulting LLC in Baltimore is seeking a Lead UX Designer to modernize the eMaryland Marketplace Advantage (eMMA) platform for the Department of General Services. You will design around user needs, accessibility standards, and business outcomes.

Collaborate with product owners, developers, analysts, and leadership to establish UX standards, deliver user journeys, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs across the program lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in UX design, HCI, or related field.
• 8+ years of UX/UI design or product design experience.
• Experience leading UX design activities for large-scale enterprise or government applications.
• Proficient with user research, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
• Experience in Agile environments and accessibility principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead UX strategy and design activities for the eMMA modernization program and related applications.
• Develop user journeys, personas, process flows, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs.
• Translate business and technical requirements into intuitive, accessible user experiences.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, developers, and leadership across the program lifecycle.
• Establish UX standards and reusable patterns for consistency across applications.
