Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Senior UX Designer to join the Amazon Grocery Ads and In-Store Experience (GRAISE) team. You will lead the in-store experience design and the unified design system across devices and surfaces.

You will collaborate with product, research, and engineering to ensure design fidelity and scalable components, while mentoring designers and driving a cohesive user experience.

Qualifications

• 7+ years delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer.
• Experience using a variety of design, wire-framing, and prototyping tools.
• Experience conducting UX research.
• Experience delivering results by partnering with and influencing others.
• Demonstrated experience building, scaling, and maintaining multi-platform design systems (component architecture, variants, design tokens, grid systems, published libraries).

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end in-store customer experiences across interactions, IA, and visual language with artifacts like user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Investigate customer pain points using qualitative and quantitative data, stakeholder feedback, and constraints to iterate design solutions.
• Collaborate with PMs, researchers, engineers, and designers to bring ideas to completion.
• Partner with UX research to run generative and evaluative studies and apply results.
• Lead and evangelize the design system, defining contribution and review models and enabling adoption.
