Job summary

Amazon Delivery Customer Experience is seeking a Senior UX Designer in Bellevue, WA to craft post-purchase experiences, order management, and scalable design systems that delight customers after checkout. You will partner with senior leaders and multi-disciplinary teams to connect evolving customer needs with technology.

In this role you will create user flows, wireframes, visual designs, and prototypes, validate ideas with usability studies and analytics, and present work to executives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of design experience.
• Have an available online portfolio.
• Experience defining and maintaining design patterns and UX standards.
• Experience with best practices for User Interface Design, Information Architecture, and Interaction Design.
• Experience in life cycle design projects from design strategy through execution.
• Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and interaction design, user-centered design process.
• Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar.
• Experience designing and managing workflow with AI tools.
• Preferred: Experience designing customer facing retail products.
• Experience acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing user research) and creating personas and journey maps.
• Experience presenting designs and collaborating with all levels of the organization.
• Experience providing and effectively communicating strategic and tactical recommendations based on data.

Responsibilities

• Bring forward innovative ideas and solutions and raise the bar on customer's experience with delivery.
• Advocate and design for the customer through data, insights, and business constraints.
• Plan and balance immediate changes with long‑term, scalable solutions with cross‑functional teams.
• Create user flows, wireframes, visual designs, and prototypes to communicate interaction behaviors.
• Assess and optimize features via usability testing, user research, and analytics.
• Present design work to UX partners, cross-disciplinary teams, and executive leaders.
