AT&T in Bothell, WA is seeking a Lead UX Designer to drive end-to-end customer experiences across web and mobile platforms. You will lead complex journeys, contribute to enterprise design systems, and partner with product, engineering, and content teams to scale reusable components.

The role emphasizes human-centered design, accessibility, and data-driven decisions, with a strong focus on collaboration and mentoring design teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in UX design, HCI, visual communication, or similar.
• Five+ years of related experience; in-house or creative agency experience a plus.
• Portfolio featuring structural design for various customer journeys.
• Robust understanding of UX fundamentals with a curiosity for emerging technologies.
• Knowledgeable in digital brand experience and customer-focused thinking.
• Experience making data-driven design decisions to drive engagement and conversion.
• Well-versed in accessibility standards, responsive design, and modern design tools with advanced expertise in Figma, including component architecture, library management, and design token systems.
• Proven experience designing, building, and evolving enterprise-scale design systems, including component governance, documentation, and accessibility standards while balancing consistency, flexibility, and engineering feasibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts across multiple products, journeys, and initiatives while ensuring a cohesive customer experience.
• Use AI-enabled design and prototyping tools to accelerate ideation and create interactive prototypes from concepts to production-ready experiences.
• Collaborate across teams to align foundational design with overarching strategies.
• Partner with UX writers, product managers, engineers, and design system teams to translate needs into reusable components.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and style guides for consistency.
• Design comprehensive, production-ready component libraries in Figma with accessible documentation.
• Guide and mentor designers through reviews, critiques, and knowledge sharing.
• Facilitate cross-team alignment on UX approaches amid ambiguity and constraints.
• Factor usability testing results into design decisions.
