Job summary

Citi in Tampa, Florida, seeks a seasoned Lead UX Designer to lead the design of our digital products. You will collaborate with Product and Engineering partners and UX Research to drive ideation, wireframes, prototyping, and high-fidelity designs across the full UX process.

You’ll create wireframes and prototypes in Figma, contribute to our Design System, ensure accessibility per ADA/WCAG, mentor juniors, and align designs with research findings.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall experience
• 7+ years of industry UX Design experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience with complex, enterprise-scale or consumer design projects
• Experience with Design Systems and Figma

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with research, product, and engineering to brainstorm and co-create ideas
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma and Design System
• Ensure designs follow best practices and are informed by research and testing
• Lead and mentor junior designers and manage stakeholder expectations
• Deliver high-quality design assets with clear guidance to engineering
• Provide ongoing UX reviews and ensure accessibility per ADA/WCAG
• Stay updated on UX trends and innovations
• Lead by example and contribute to the wider UX community
