Job summary

AT&T is seeking a Lead UX Designer to craft high-performing experiences across web and mobile. You will translate user needs and business goals into scalable, accessible solutions, guiding design across complex journeys and contributing to enterprise design systems.

You will mentor designers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive human-centered design while leveraging AI tools to accelerate ideation and prototyping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in UX design, HCI, visual communication, or similar.
• 5+ years of related experience; in-house or creative agency experience is a plus.
• Portfolio featuring structural design for various customer journeys.
• Robust understanding of UX fundamentals with curiosity for emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts across multiple products, journeys, and initiatives.
• Use AI-enabled design and prototyping tools to accelerate ideation and prototypes.
• Collaborate to align design with overarching strategies (campaign, site, UX).
• Partner with writers, product managers, engineers, and design system teams to translate needs into reusable components.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and style guides for consistency.
• Design production-ready component libraries in Figma with accessibility and documentation.
• Mentor designers through reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Facilitate cross-team alignment on UX approaches amidst ambiguity and constraints.
• Factor usability testing results into design decisions.
