Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in San Diego, CA is seeking a Principal Software Engineer - User Experience Applications to join our Software organization on site. The candidate will support Agile delivery, GUI/UX development, and enterprise Java EE initiatives within a security-conscious environment.

This role requires a Top Secret clearance and a strong background in Java, C/C++, Python, and modern UI frameworks, with collaboration across engineering, QA, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5 years of related engineering experience, or a Master's with 3 years.
• Experience with the full SDLC.
• Experience with Agile software development, integration and testing.
• Proficiency in Java, C, C++, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in an Agile environment with Systems Engineering, Cloud & Applications, Test Automation, and DevSecOps.
• Participate in the software development lifecycle including build/test/release.
• Develop enterprise solutions for Java EE in a SOA environment.
• Collaborate with team members across the software lifecycle.
