Job summary

ACRT Pacific, LLC. is seeking a Supervising Pre-Inspector to oversee Utility Pre-Inspectors and field crews in California. The role focuses on inspections, data collection, and contractor coordination in a safety-sensitive environment.

Ideal candidates have forestry or related backgrounds, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage projects in varied weather and terrain. Travel and flexible schedules may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 2-years minimum experience working on electric utility projects preferred.
• Become ISA Certified Arborist within one year.
• Ability to identify local trees and knowledge of growth rates.
• High level of communication and organization skills required.
• High level of Customer Service skills required.
• Experience working with data collection devices and GIS software desired.
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office; self-motivated and production oriented.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in varied terrain and inclement weather with flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manages work group process by working with client’s representative.
• Serves as team leader for Utility Pre-Inspectors, coordinating schedules and assigning work.
• Performs all necessary duties for emergency response in accordance with safety requirements, laws, regulations, and applicable labor laws.
• Maintains direct contact with the local client operating personnel as directed by the client representative.
• Maintains a working relationship with public agencies in the Supervising Utility Pre-Inspectors area.
• Maintains a working relationship with the client’s tree-trimming contractor in the Supervising area.
• Resolves customer complaints in a timely and courteous manner.
• Participates in public presentations and meetings as required.
