Job summary

ACRT Pacific, LLC. is seeking a season-appropriate Supervising Pre-Inspector to oversee Utility Pre-Inspectors and field crews, with a focus on inspections, audits, and contractor performance.

This safety-sensitive role requires coordinating schedules and maintaining client relations across field and office environments. The position emphasizes outdoor fieldwork and office reporting, with a 75% indoors/25% outdoors split, and frequent interaction with clients and public agencies.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Minimum 2 years experience on electric utility projects preferred.
• ISA Certified Arborist within one year.
• Ability to identify local trees and growth rates.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in varied terrain and inclement weather with flexible schedules (nights/weekends as needed).
• Valid Driver License and ability to drive and operate a 4x4 vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Manages work group process by working with client’s representative.
• Serves as team leader for Utility Pre-Inspectors, coordinating schedules and assigning work.
• Performs all necessary duties for emergency response in accordance with all safety requirements, laws, regulations, and applicable labor laws.
• Maintains direct contact with the local client operating personnel as directed by the client representative.
• Maintains a working relationship with all public agencies in the Supervising Utility Pre-Inspectors assigned area.
• Maintains a working relationship with the client’s tree-trimming contractor in the Supervising Utility Pre-Inspectors assigned area.
• Resolves customer complaints in a timely and courteous manner.
• Participates in public presentations and meetings as required.
