Job summary

Davey Tree Surgery Co. is seeking an experienced Line Clearance Foreman/Foreperson to lead a 2-5 person crew in Medina and Lorain County, OH, servicing Lorain-Medina Rural Electric. CDL holder and climbing experience preferred.

You will prune and remove trees near utilities, inspect sites, operate tools, mentor staff, and ensure safety. This is a full-time, on-site hourly position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 2-5 person tree crew in pruning and removal for electric utility providers.
• Prune treetops and remove damaged limbs near utilities and structures.
• Inspect job-sites and plan tasks with proper execution.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
• Mentor and train new employees.
